One-to-one sessions
Your child works with a Registered Behavior Technician assigned to them, supervised by a board certified behavior analyst who is in the room regularly — not signing off from a distance.
No waitlist · Cincinnati, Ohio
Beacon Autism Centers provides clinician-led ABA therapy for children with autism in Cincinnati. Every program is written and supervised by a board certified behavior analyst, on a schedule built around your family.
No waitlist, and a real person answers. Tell us your child's age and your insurance, and we'll tell you honestly how soon we can start.
What we do
Applied Behavior Analysis, delivered the way it is supposed to be delivered: assessed by a behavior analyst, written for your child specifically, and adjusted as the data comes in. Not a template with your child's name typed at the top.
Your child works with a Registered Behavior Technician assigned to them, supervised by a board certified behavior analyst who is in the room regularly — not signing off from a distance.
We start with a full assessment — what your child can already do, what gets in the way, and what you actually want to change. That becomes the treatment plan, and we walk you through it line by line.
Regular sessions with your child's analyst so what works in therapy works at home, at grandma's, and in the grocery store. No family should be handed a binder and left to figure it out.
Progress is measured, not assumed. Data is taken every session and reviewed against the goals we set with you. If something isn't working we change it, and we tell you why rather than quietly rewriting the plan.
Getting started
Most families are surprised how much of this we do for them. You make one phone call to begin.
Tell us your child's age, your insurance, and what you're hoping changes. Five minutes.
We check your coverage, get authorization, and tell you what it will cost before you commit.
A behavior analyst meets your child, talks with you, and builds the first treatment plan.
Full day, half day, or after school. We'll be straight with you about what's available.
Insurance
Autism services are a covered benefit in Ohio. You should not have to fight for that, and with us you don't — we handle authorizations and re-authorizations in house.

Commercial plans and private pay
Don't see your plan? Call us anyway at 513-401-8953. Plans change, we add contracts, and single case agreements are often possible.
He asked for juice. Out loud, at the kitchen table, without anyone prompting him. We had been waiting years for a sentence like that.
Questions parents ask
For insurance to cover services, yes — an autism diagnosis from a qualified provider is required. If you don't have one yet, call us anyway. We can point you toward evaluators in the area and tell you what to expect from that process.
There isn't one. We staff so families can start quickly instead of sitting on an open-ended list for months. Call and we'll give you a real date — and if for some reason we can't take your child soon, we'll say so plainly.
If you're on Ohio Medicaid, typically nothing out of pocket. On a commercial plan it depends on your deductible and copay. We verify your benefits before your child starts and walk you through the numbers, so there are no surprises after the fact.
Yes. Plenty of our clients attend school and come to us for the rest of the day, or come mornings only. The recommended hours come out of the assessment, and then we work with your schedule.
With your permission, yes. We can coordinate with teachers and intervention specialists, align goals with the IEP, and attend meetings when it helps.
Mostly it looks like play. Skills get taught inside activities your child already enjoys, with data taken quietly in the background. You're welcome to come watch in person before you decide — we'd rather you did.
Careers
Manageable caseloads, supervision that actually happens, and paid time for the documentation instead of taking it home. If you're a BCBA or RBT in Cincinnati, we'd like to talk.
